The new layout of Chill may take some exploration, and a great way to accomplish this is to lace up your skates and experience the spirit of the holidays on ice. Passing through Russia, China, and Switzerland, you’ll see a majority of the attractions. You can also admire the largest Christmas tree in the park and may even catch a live show around the tree that occurs periodically during your stay at Chill.

When you are ready to take off your skates, you will find yourself in Holland. Enjoy breakfast all winter long at the Windmill Waffle House where you can enjoy a complete breakfast buffet. If you are in a rush, no worries, you can stop by the side window for a drink on the go. Enjoy some of Holland’s signature cocktails: the Fizzy Mistletoe, the bacon-infused Sriracha Bloody Mary or the Jelly Donut.

Challenge your friend to shuffle board on ice. Enjoy a pierogi, potato dumpling, and signature sugarplum cocktail in a plush furnished igloo. On your way out of Russia, you may even be able to catch up with Father Christmas in the enchanted forest.

Lanterns, dumplings, hot tea, biking, and maybe even a panda siting, await you in China. Cozy up in the Zen Teahouse, which offers an authentic Chinese tea experience. Or you may choose to sip on champagne or a martini and ride out the winter in the Star Bar. Be sure to check out the bike path, where you can take a leisurely ride under the lights or race your friends as you pedal on ice.

More thrills await you when you visit Switzerland. Experience the holiday season like the Swiss with cheese and chocolate fondue. Take a selfie with Swiss Santa if you can find him. Race your friends down the mountain ice tubing on a six-lane track. Enjoy bumper boats on ice for small fee. Before leaving Switzerland make sure you visit the Pinnacle Chalet Bar on the top floor of the Alpine Lodge as it provides one of the best views of the park especially at night. With a Sugar Cookie martini or warm apple cider (add rum for an extra treat) in hand you are bound to relish your stay in Switzerland at Chill.

Celebrate the holidays like the Germans with warm pretzels, bratwurst, strudel and ginger bread. Enjoy tastings of traditional German beers at the Twisted Pretzel Pub and Tasting Room. You may even choose to sample a flight of butter beer, ginger beer, and root beer that the whole family can enjoy. Everything appears larger in Germany where you may ride a giant rocking horse or take precious photos next to a life-sized gingerbread house.

For a small fee, you may create personalized Christmas stockings in Santa’s workshop. Visit Santa’s house and enjoy a Christmas story read by Mrs. Claus herself. If you are not in a rush, you may choose to wait in line to taste hot chocolate that will surely make your spirit bright. Made with real melted chocolate and adorned with marshmallows, caramel, chocolate sauce, sprinkles and whipped cream, this cup of cocoa is surely worth the wait.
