Major motion pictures, such as Blade Runner and Bright, as well as television series, such as Westworld and Mr. Robot, all promoted their brands through immersive &#8220;activations&#8221; or experiences. Often incorporating food, drink, and live actors, each experience excelled in recreating their given world. One of our favorites of SDCC was Midnight, Texas, a new television series on NBC by author Charlaine Harris (True Blood). Utilizing immersive and 4D techniques, we enter the town of Midnight, Texas as an Outsider and learn more about the residents of this quiet little town&#8211;because nothing is what it seems. Check out our video walkthrough below:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hQHq_7-X1BQ\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>From the Press Release:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Comic-Con guests and fans will immerse themselves in the dark, thrilling world of \u201c<span data-term=\"goog_849751326\">Midnight,<\/span>\u00a0Texas\u201d via an unforgettable 4D experience, plus enjoy live tarot card readings, exclusive Snapcodes, a custom shareable photo opportunity, themed giveaways and more at Gaslamp Square (between the Convention Center and Hard Rock Hotel)\u00a0starting\u00a0<span data-term=\"goog_849751329\">Thursday July 20 through Sunday, July 23<\/span>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel through the town of \u201c<span data-term=\"goog_849751328\">Midnight,<\/span>\u00a0Texas\u201d where \u201conly outsiders fit in,\u201d passing through some of the town\u2019s iconic locations including:\u00a0 the Pawn Shop, Fiji\u2019s house, Tattoo Parlor, Olivia\u2019s Armory, and a pet cemetery.<\/li>\n<li>Tin Fish Gaslamp restaurant will become \u201cHome Cooking,\u201d the restaurant featured in \u201c<span data-term=\"goog_849751330\">Midnight,<\/span>\u00a0Texas.\u201d Fans will continue to be absorbed into the supernatural world with live tarot card readings set up inside the restaurant.<\/li>\n<li>A full-sensory experience in each part of town will immerse fans deeper into the world of &#8220;<span data-term=\"goog_849751331\">Midnight, Texas&#8221;<\/span>\u00a0as they continue their journey inside lead character Manfred\u2019s house.
